2023 Watervale Riesling

Varietal: Riesling 100%

COLOUR: Brilliant in appearance with youthful green tints.

NOSE: Lifted and powerfully scented, the nose is all florals, lemon blossom, kaffir limes, and a hint of granny smith apple.

PALATE: Beautifully layered and with a long finish, the palate brings together the limes and lemons from the nose with the seductive tightly wound acid core, perfectly in sync and made to cellar beautifully for twenty to twenty-five plus years.

Winemaking: A single vineyard wine, made from the Milburn vineyard just north of the Watervale township. The fruit was harvested, drained, and fermented cool over a three-week period. Once completely dry, the wine was stabilized and filtered, and bottled in August 2022.

Cellaring: Will age beautiful, with a  potential of at least 20 - 25 years.

Food pairing Suggestion: Freshly shucked oysters are the perfect accompaniment
